Volvo recalls over 500,000 vehicles due to a fire risk

Volvo has recalled over half a million vehicles due to a fire risk.

The fault lies within a plastic manifold used in the engine.

In the UK there are just under 70,000 affected vehicles, models including S60, S80, S90, V40, V60, V70, V90, XC60 and the XC90.

If you believe your vehicle may have a recall or just want to check for peace of mind you can visit the DVSA's MOT website. Simply put your registration number in, search and at the bottom of the page you can automatically check for outstanding recalls. Alternatively you can contact your local Volvo dealership.
