Tesla slashes the price of its Model 3 to $35,000

Tesla has announced that it’s slashing the price of its Model 3 to $35,000 which is equivalent to around £26,500 (sterling). The price for the Model 3 in recent months has been in excess of $50,000.

In addition the company has announced it’s plan to close showrooms and switch to an online-only sales model to help the firm to sure up their finances to ensure the company remains profitable.

Currently the reduced price is only available to the US market, but Tesla has indicated the cheaper model will be available in around 3 to 6 months time.
